He was born in Caracas. He graduated with honors in 1998 from the School of Architecture and Urbanism at the Universidad Central de Venezuela.

In 1999 he founded his own architecture firm, G3 Projects (Caracas), in which he began to nail down various proposals based on the development of projects of different scales and programs. During this professional stage he progressively entered into experiential training, promoting and leading the continuous development of social, cultural, private and research projects.

In 2014, he opened a second office in Panama City, which was established giving presence and continuity to the brand in Central America, developing proposals and projects with the same concepts and methodologies, providing constructive proposals and architectural solutions for different cities of the region.

Currently his brand evolves and opens his third office in Mexico City, under the name of TAC (Taller Alberto Calleja) with the intention of following up on his clients and local projects that are under development.
